Saw some no tillled wheat by a 3m GD in to OSR & stripped linseed stubble that looked excellent round this way last week.

was actually oil radish and vetch, but the vetch was sparse i have to say!

I do like the GD but to get a trailed is 50k, it'd be cheaper to invest in a 750a instead. The 750a seems pretty similar although it lacks the pivoting coulter function and press wheel

I hope the wheat doesn't go flat as they are some sensible stones to go up the front of a combine! Perhaps a stone wall diversification business might be the answer

Yes, but they'll need a nice stone wall where the press events are held.

Not sure what and 4meter is, but I paid not much more than 55k for a new 6m weaving

£33k for a 4m 750? doubt it

Some may share what they actually paid for a new 750A, the list price in an mag artical last summer was over 50 grand for a 3m 750A.


My grandad used to compain comment about the cost of combines, which did nothing for 11 months of the year. It's the other month though where it does or doesn't earn its keep.
