funny old thing democracyCan't change it now, Mr Hoskins.
If the majority of the vote goes to one party and that party is thus voted out... then it's obviously luck that decides.
Crazy but.
Remind me, Are you talking about your election or ours? Can't change it now, Mr Hoskins.

Do you want her back?Ardern did a stint in the UK, policy advisor for .......the Blair government!!!View attachment 591908
Want to swap for Teresa..?
Working for Bliar, she will have learned a thing or two on how to get mega rich out of other peoples misery.Do you want her back?Ardern did a stint in the UK, policy advisor for .......the Blair government!!!
You can have Winston if you want Ardern , think two for one is fair
Anyone know Canadian immigration policy?
I was thinking BC, on Vancouver Island.Working for Bliar, she will have learned a thing or two on how to get mega rich out of other peoples misery.
You'll find Canada is way too cold for a Waikato man.
Immigrants, I'm going to call this unholy alliance between NZ First, Labour and the Greens, the "Steinlager Government" because it seems like a good idea at the start, but there will be a hangover from hell tomorrow and later you have the regret as to why the feck you had one in the first place and never want one ever again during your life!!!.I didn't vote for her but I think Jacinda does kind of feel like a leader unlike Labours many other attempts. I think she's adapted pretty quickly, I suspect her plan was to sit this one out, as National looked certain to win and take over the leadership of the party and get in next time with perhaps just the greens to help but Andrew Little butchered it that badly she had to take over.
It will be interesting to see how she handles it. If she can control Winston and keep his balls in her handbag she might be a success, who knows.
Some people do well out of National some with Labour maybe it should swap round every now and then.
I'm not leaving anyway, unless Winston kicks me out
Again, I'm unsure...Remind me, Are you talking about your election or ours?
I had my hopes set on @JD-Kid being the Republic of The South Island's first president.Given the current state of politics in Australia and NZ (from a comfortable distance) I don’t think I could trust a single politician to run and represent their country effectively in the absence of the monarchy. The same goes for Britain. A bunch of self serving, manipulative snakes!
I’ll stick with her Maj every time!

A bit 'Mugabe' for you?
We would enjoy very cheap electric and fuel if it wasn't for that other island.....
Mate , if your going to draw a line in the sand, ffs don't draw it at the Strait, draw it at the top of the Bombay Hill!!I had my hopes set on @JD-Kid being the Republic of The South Island's first president.

They have a republic in the centre of the North Island, you even need a passport to go there!Again, I'm unsure...
Seems to be quite a trend in modern day elections, this skinny majority thing.
Without actual clear leadership at the head of parties, crazy ill thought out policies, it's small wonder really.
Cue, a referendum to leave the commonwealth - does anyone remember the commonwealth?
I remember dad talked about what it meant...
I'm in favour of forming a republic, if anyone asks!!
I think you could apply that quote to most countries in the world sadlyGiven the current state of politics in Australia and NZ (from a comfortable distance) I don’t think I could trust a single politician to run and represent their country effectively in the absence of the monarchy.
