NFUS rally tomorrow

What is everyone’s thoughts on this rally/protest in Edinburgh tomorrow?

I thought the president of NFUS was chairing the committee that was planning the new bill, now he’s leading a protest against it.
Husband has spoken to a few people who know nothing about it. The NFUS pr department seem to be missing in action. There is so much been going on in the last few months they should have been shouting about but they seem frightened to ruffle feathers.
The way costs have increased there might not be many farmers left to worry about the new bill!

Don’t think we’re going to support it for the above reasons. Is everyone else going?

Publicity not needed. It won't take long to phone around the 'good ole boys' and arrange a get together. Protest? What protest?

Some campaign when even farmers don't know about it!

First I knew about it was a text from local branch yesterday afternoon asking if I wanted a seat on the bus they had organised. Lot of spare seats appardently🤷‍♂️🤔

Not going,
But
The NFUS to be fair to them has had this in nearly every email they have sent out for the last 6 weeks or so.
Plenty of texts been sent out too.

Didn't hear much enthusiasm to attend to be fair.
Politically it looks a bit weird when food prices are rising so much.
Did anyone see anything on here? But then I'm not a member because I am (quote) "not a proper farmer". Presume that means, not one of the NFUS elite so not invited.

I had / still have a lot of reservations about this rally.

But to be fair, they (NFUS) claim on Twitter that there were "more than 400 farmers" in attendance today.

Fancy giving weatherspoons you're money . The company that wanted Brexit so much so they could import cheap Brazilian beef. 🙈
