Talking to Lakeland rep today and they have it sorted. Milk is being trucked to S Armagh to the farm of Slab Murphy. The cross border pipeline that took kerosene south and brought diesel north is being washed out with fairy liquid and hot water at this very moment. If tanker is stopped by customs , they've been instructed to say they're hauling diesel. Nobody in NI has ever been jailed for smuggling/washing diesel. Unspoken part of the good friday agreement.. keep the RA happy.
Simples.

Got my bank form and grant completed. Getting the bank form reminded me of all those years ago when I had to ask my daddy if it was ok to buy a new wheel borrow.
the stupid bit is you have to get a letter even if you are only planing to spend £5k,
I can understand for a £15K upwards investments, but below that amount its a cashflow transaction in most farm businesses.

I suppose they had to do that to sort out the tyre kickers that suddenly couldn’t afford it after they had got the go ahead for the grant and stopped others that would have used the grant but weren’t eligible

Wow, can I have his phone number please. He can show me what I need to feed my cows in order for them to produce 18,000 litres average 😍

650,000 ÷ 120 = 5416 (£ per cow)
5416 ÷ 0.3ppl (very high considering likely to be white water!) =18,055 litres/cow
Just in case my math is questioned
