Nozzles not spraying

Running a bateman 26 2008 and just recently having trouble with some nozzles not spraying when I first start off but as I raise pressure or get further up the field they come on !.could this be problems with the diaphragm in the chem savers?
Any help would be appreciated

Are they all the same colour and type?
When was it last tested? History issue's?

Yes all 03 flat fans. Just passed its nsts couple of weeks ago .did change 1 or 2 diaphragms a while back cos of similar issues and they did seem quite worn so whether this is the general problem and I need to change all??

Had the same problem on my sprayer last year, changed all the diaphragms and it was sorted.

Yeah ok thanks for your help guys.i may just call bateman too next week and see what they say but hopefully it is just the diaphragms so not too expensive fix

I’ve had that on my 2017 Bateman this year, only one on the end of the second section. Haven’t looked at it as it’s ok once the pressures been up. Is it much of a job to change a diaphragm? Where do you get them from?

It's just your imagination, it's annual calibration certificate ensures it's ok to use!

Ha,ha! I did my own jug test and it was fine. It’s just when you first start off in the field?

Yeah its just when I switch on and start off in the field. Chap did 4 section jug test in nsts and nozzles were fine and all working then when I did a section at a time so can't understand it!!

We have teejet chem savers on but just got the diaphragms from our local Bateman service guy. They are cheap. Just unscrew the chem saver barrel and pick out. They go hard and get dirty. First thing we noticed was they were slow to go off and dribbled when we changed ours.

Did you have problems with certain nozzles not spraying cos of the diaphragms you think?

No ours were just slow to switch off compared to the others. It’s worth changing the diaphragms as it’s quick and cheap. Are your nozzles all one section or over a few? We also replaced all the air line connectors and dump valves as they were getting brittle.

4 x6 metre sections.its usually the 2 outer sections where some of the nozzles aren't working so maybe it could be a pressure thing?although seemed to be getting good pressure yesterday out in the wheat!
