How about adapting a flexible sheep shearing driveshaft? I think Horner shearing would make you one whatever length you needed

£104 for a 2.4m, maybe not so cheap.

Similar design but the einbock is a fair bit heavier duty

You are correct. It is a Hatzenbichler rebadged Opico

How is it mounted on the other side?
I think Fiona uses a system with self containing chain cassettes. Very nifty and they have different length and sprockets to suit pretty much everything.

How much to convert it to run on the tractor dipped sensor. Seems a better way to drive it if cables are that price
