I recently bought a small holding with a grade 2 converted barn.
The cooker is an electric hob and was left by the previous owners and is clapped out.
I want to replace is with a gas range - but there's no gas supply and it'll need propane bottles which will need us to make access through the kitchen wall for the pipe, and to store the bottles and provide a shelter - do I need planning permission?
I emailed the council to ask their advice but they were as useful as a chocolate teapot and told me I can pay £60 for a planning officer to look at my query.
Would rather not!
All advice gratefully appreciated, thank you!!
