Polish 185 type mowers

Hi all, What would the opinion be of running a Talex/Samasz 185 size mower on a 60hp two wheel drive, do you think I would be on the edge for weight and possibly even HP? Thanks

Hell 40 year ago used to bomb up an down with km 22Fahr on a 574 Nash. And even 135 , be no problem

I have a Samaz 1.85 which I've been using today behind our Kubota. I was thinking that it made no better job than the 574 we used to run it behind and used far less diesel. A 574 will handle it no problem at all.

BTW our 574 has a loader so there was a little additional weight on the front.

Sorry I mixed up your post with the second one and thought you had a 574. These mowers are rated at a 60hp requirement so think you will be ok. They take very little driving.

I'd say they should be rated at 60hp max!! Not minimum.
you have to remember it's a 40-50 yr old design. Pretty sure the drive trains haven't been modernised for 120hp
