If you are applying a lot of manure you might not want to go buying any bagged MOP. You need to do the sums on this carefully.

Your soil test result should tell you what is needed for the crop in question at the indicated indices.
It is very low though abd is isue is the 2 cuts , he will be removing it as fast as it goes on also his muck wont be as concetrated as slurry
Personaly i woukd be hitting it hard with both

1 index of soil potash = 500 units, 1 index of soil phos =350 units. Dont apply a lot of potash to growing crops or you get luxury uptake. Feed potash to the soil in winter for build up. Long term nvestment

Far more potash in FYM than slurry.

Cattle FYM c. 8.5kg Potash/tonne.

30% DM silage uses c. 8kg/t, say you're taking 10t/ac over 2 cuts = 80kg/acre. 12t FYM per acre replaces 100kg/acre.

Book says put on extra 60kg/ha (c. 25kg/acre) in autumn after last cut to build indices.
