Looking for opinions which would be the best puma slightly more hours jd slightly less but 2 years older both around 4000 hrs Thanks
What are you doing in the cab that the puma cab isn't big enough for????For me ,jd Every time ,had a 240 puma on demo again ,by request of case ,
now if they put the jd command arm in the case , which i think some thing is coming in the next genaration , as dont like the multicontroller , and dont like the command pro in jd , either , the command arm is so easy ,
would consider one ,but at minute ,case cab is cramped ,and the winey horrible forward reverse park ,and lever ,and the slow reaction of it is horrible ,
would rather a 25 year old jd against the puma cab and controls any day
He has green toilet paper. What are you doing in the cab that the puma cab isn't big enough for????
I find I’m my puma that as I’m 6ft 2 tall I struggle to get my legs stretched out with the seat turned. The seat in my opinion doesn’t go far enough back either when straight forward. What are you doing in the cab that the puma cab isn't big enough for????
and a green toaster that marks the bread same shape as an r seriesHe has green toilet paper.
Grammer seats have both on the bottom of the seat and the bottom of the sliders 2 mounting positions. Actually I am not sure on the bottom of the seat. Maybe they are mounted on the wrong hole.I find I’m my puma that as I’m 6ft 2 tall I struggle to get my legs stretched out with the seat turned. The case/ newholland cab won’t allow the seat to slide any further back as it hits the rear of the cab when you have the damper unlocked.Grammer seats have both on the bottom of the seat and the bottom of the sliders 2 mounting positions. I am a good bit taller, on my 6010 series tractors I made a bracket to fit under the suspension base to move it back a bit and up.
Just ordered a Optum, who of thought it.Just didn't like the command pro on the deere, plus disappointed they haven't done anything more radical to the 6Rs.For me ,jd Every time ,had a 240 puma on demo again ,by request of case ,

Well you need room for - the Butty bag (that’s the main one), flask, few bottles of water, any control boxes for non iso implements, mount for the iPad, documentation/map folders, I usually have the rifle for picking off a few wabbits, few of the essential tools for changing shear bolts/adjustments etc, if I’m baling I usually stick the leaf blower in the corner, plus all the other things I can’t think of. I also like to spin the seat so I can stretch my legs out as the one with all the pins in starts to ache after a bit. What are you doing in the cab that the puma cab isn't big enough for????
Can't comment on reliability, but a Cvx rebuild costs ~7k€.I believe the cvx a lot more reliable and cheaper to repair if it does blow up
