Push button box on the back of a Fendt 500-700-800-900 to set spool valves to float.

Hi all.

I own a 718 SCR , with the standard spool valves on the back of the tractor. I know that fendt sells tractors that have spool valves
with a lever to be able to connect the hoses even under pressure.

I thought it would be very handy to have 4 buttons on the back that i can use to set each valve to float. I'm tired of having to climb
hundreds of times back in the cab to set the valves to float.

Currently i'm developing a circuit board that connects to the CAN bus of the tractor, and can set each spool valve to float.
So it's only the box with the buttons and a cable to connect to the CAN connector on the fuse panel. Very easy to install.

Should there be anyone interested in this ? I'd like to see if i could make a serie for sale.

Yes that's a good idea, handy to put into pump as well when loading a bale for straw blower or is it just a dump button?

It sounds effing unsafe to me. Dumping pressure at the press of a button when you're within striking distance of the implement that could be held out of harm's way only by the hydraulic pressure.

Perhaps there's a reason manufacturers only put dump buttons in the cab? To keep the operator somewhere safe when uncontrolled motion is happening!

That's not so true, because Fendt does offer the luxe spool valves who have the pressure relieve valves. And as always, you need to think what you do all the
time when you're standing there. You could say the same from lift control. Your standing there, you could easely crush yourself . But people know that when they
hit that button what they can expect.

I can command basically anything. Every button that is in the cab can be copied to another button i can place anywhere.

Our 6499 had the same, its handy

Done 15000hrs. And still find dumping buttons in cab pain. Wish I got levers.

Fendt has those too, but those are not standard but optional. And its not a cheap option. My solution would be way cheaper haha.
