Yes same here, doubt we had a mm, normally a 60”+ rainfall area. Not to worry , rain on the forecast looks continuous from the 10 June onwards, so 2nd cut is fudged.Spoke told mate who farm just south of Silverton and they don't think they had a mm
I'd guess we have sub 1 bale acre 2and cut after 4 weeks. Buying bales for sub 25 quid, cant really afford to make it, butnit needs to disappear as its run to head. Will be an expensive exercise, and wont be done until decent persistent rain is forecast, and if we get caught out and its raining too much to get a window, then a flail topper wouldnt be the most daft optionYes same here, doubt we had a mm, normally a 60”+ rainfall area. I had to squint to see the hay !!Got very excited by a the first few spots appearing on the windscreen today (it wasn't my hay I was baling!). Unfortunately, there wasn't enough to turn on the wiper. View attachment 884413
