I’m going to bite the bullet after few years thinking about it. My budget is approximately 20k I’d prefer a pivot steer ( but not essential) as I’ll be using it for about 200 acres of pit silage. It’s duty’s will include loading muck and lime and feeding bale silage. I’ve a yard 6 miles from main yard that needs feeding twice a week so hoping to get something near 40k gearbox. TIA ( would 3800 John Deere fit the bill)

Even a old dog of a thing thats never seen a grease gun or a oil filter in its life is worth 20k now days.
Is say you are a man that only buys new machines?? I’ll only be doing 3-400 hours a year and already have a loader tractor but could do with a telehandler for cleaning the cattle yard and filling bins with meal as it would have way bigger bucket and my loader tractor won’t fit in cubicle house as it’s to high

no, got a 8000 hour 536-60 and nervous as hell if it ever gets near a silage pit, used it for 250-300 acres of wagon silage this season but we push downhill with our pits so very little clinbing but I still get a buckrake in on big days.
