Recommend me a tractor

Mrs is wanting a vintage tractor for round the place so she has something to poter around on and something she can take to a few rallys and have some fun with. I’m looking at it in a more practical way so I’m after something man enough to run the wrapper in summer and maybe have a small bale trailer and do the odd bit of rolling and rotovating ect

So what would fit the bill, got to be tidy and fall into either a modern classic or very nice vintage. I’ve thought about a Super Dexter or Super Major as a vintage option and doctoring the hydraulic so it’d have a free flow and return but unsure if that’d have the guts to run the wrapper not that that is the be all and end all as it’ll happily scrape out or in the more modern section a 42 series Case or 56/66 Ford. I’d really like something more vintage though

Post away as I feel I may be overlooking something very obvious no Zetors ?

If I was you I'd probably be looking for something with a quiet cab. If either of you have any memories or allegiance to any particular make. So for ford 6600 Leyland 272 international 674 massy 590 David Brown 1390 John deere 2040 all these would be capable of running a wrapper and few other jobs as well as not looking out of place on a road run or rally

Any experience with a 3065? Seen one or two tidy ones

3000 series generally a solid tractor, they do suffer from rot on the doors as a common problem, similar to 600 series.
Also been known to throw up electrical/electronic gremlins but pretty much the same as any other marque of that era using early electronics.
If they’ve been looked after then they shouldn’t give any undue bother more than anything else but it is something to be aware of.

The 3000 series was quite an advanced tractor in its day.
