can't see the difference to a cherry picker myself but that's the rules.

Big difference is cherry pickers have controls in the basket. Too many examples of mancages resulting in crushing or tipping the workers out.

I wouldn't use mancage on a telehandler for indoor work where there's a crush risk. The driver can't see and it doesn't take much movement in the wrong direction from the hydraulics to kill someone.
