Looking at retro fit section control ,
any one done it and which is best system
t jet areos
had qoute for two different spayers , specced well up , both towards 90 k ,
and using old berty today again , and lots on it far better than some of new ones ,so spend a bit on it upgrading it ,
and have chance of another with section control , @robbie ,it came from your neighbours sale
so thinking running two good used ones ,beet for one and corn with other , got plenty tractors to leave one on each when busy
and get good service from bcs

we did an old ddb with 9 section control by air/ electric. teejet radion 8140 with teejet 570 matrix gps, brilliant job. we repiped and repainted chasis new dcvs air controlled. sections 1m, 2m 3m 4m 4m 4m 3m 2m 1m. been using for 4 years since. cost maybe 10-12k but still going strong

What are you hoping to achieve from retrofit? Is the benefit worth the cost?
Maybe nothing , just easier to use ,as got lots of funny shaped fields 63 in 1400 acre and quite a few triangle ones
2 years ago ,wiired 3 more switches in box as loom has spare wires , and three more valves and air pipes to make 7 sections , andnuse a little matrix 430 , which have set for seven sections ,what colours in where you sprayed ,and just switch off manual , ultra reliable , ,maybe just keep it simple stupid ,
think 10/15 k reworking refurb , ours than 90 k on a new one ,after previous experience
