I use a Kuhn EL 121 100” really good machine had a mashio before it not a lot of difference but the double skinned rear doors are a better job on the Kuhn

What is the thing with straight and staggered cut knives?
I bought a rotovator and it has knives pointed out instead of flat cut, I am curious as to the thinking of it.

Just buy a Kuhn, forget the rest, absolutely bombproof. Our ground is as much stone as dirt and its grand. It's a 2m 2006 could've had a 3 but told when ground is as rough as ours the rotor on the 3m could warp.
We had a 90 inch kuhn for years until the top gearbox literally went bang into 2 peices. Have a howard now. Kuhn was deffinitely a good machine

You are neatly showing one of the problems you can get from a rotavator there. If the soil is very damp and clay-laden to depth you can get a peculiar situation where the thing creates a smear along the bottom of it's working depth on top of the unworked soil below.
