Crazy mentality?
Tesco's paid for their stores millennia ago but they don't do for free these days do they?
Its not crazy if the tractor have a low resale value and will not be replaced when it is too costly to repair.

No, but that's what I charged last year and I was asked back again.has anybody said £3-50 yet
The wrapper is on the back of the baler around here. All those prices look high compared to what you can get done around here, but it's all down to competition. Wrapping looks a money spinner when any old tractor with any old wrapper can bring in £300+an hour
You said doubt he's much more, but how do you know he isn't £2 farmer supplied wrapNot my problem, but maybe he thinks the wrapper and the tractor were paid off years ago and anything else is a bonus
Most round here run fusions. The wrapper is on the back of the baler around here.
Just climed off mine today, 300 done. Couldn’t imagine having to go back a wrap them all tonight. Most round here run fusions.
Knowing the bloke,he'd be cheap but the table above is over three quid without the wrap. You said doubt he's much more, but how do you know he isn't £2 farmer supplied wrap
There's always been a few of them about, sitting on dad's tractor being the big contractor is probably better than the jobs they'd get if they stayed home.Yes , probably. There's always a few lads using dad's kit to earn a bit of beer money. There was one just down the road this morning with a case 885 and a thirty year old McHale wrapper doing it for people who only have a baler. Doubt if he's much more than a pound a bale

His tractor purring away wrapping would run for ages on £10 of diesel, bales lined up he could easily do 60 an hour, £50 an hour straight in his pocket. Where else can a teenager earn that( legally!)There's always been a few of them about, sitting on dad's tractor being the big contractor is probably better than the jobs they'd get if they stayed home.
Probably a few on here when you think about it
If you can take advantage of one of them and assuming they actually do a good job, crack on I suppose.
£50 in his pocket for first hour £60 for every hour after surely that could cover his depreciation and servicing costs and still leave a decent wageHis tractor purring away wrapping would run for ages on £10 of diesel, bales lined up he could easily do 60 an hour, £50 an hour straight in his pocket. He be even better off with the proper rate though? His tractor purring away wrapping would run for ages on £10 of diesel, bales lined up he could easily do 60 an hour, £50 an hour straight in his pocket. Where else can a teenager earn that( legally!)
Guessing they're happy doing it for neighbours and friends as they have for years. He be even better off with the proper rate though?
Then he'll get a massive tax bill if he's making a living now.He be even better off with the proper rate though?
