Royal Welsh scrapping the young persons village

They can stop dealers perhaps but they arent going to search everybody for a small bag of coke or ket hidden in there knickers for personal use.
I was amazed by how they'd spot someone who'd had a dose of something. Know what to look for in their reactions I suppose.

Last time I went , the entertainment was the cheeky girls,( lip synched and rubbish !) followed by the Wurzles ! They were brilliant!
Fond memories !
Less fond was the game of drunk rugby at 3 am , Scotland v Wales !! Ouch !👎😂
I was there that night but not in the pavilion. I was listening to the music from the back of the truck with the now 'wife' 🤫😉

It’s coming back some one else has taken on the site and really seems to want to make a go of it

Youngsters are putting too much powder up there noses too. Alot of nights out would be far better/safer if the only things on offer to drink was kegs of beer and rough cider, all these shot drinks and drugs send the young ones mental on a night out.
Very true for the townies, but you'd be very hard pressed to find young farmers on that kind of thing. Or you would up here anyway, I've never been to the royal Welsh.

You would be surprised what the young farming lads and lasses get up to, no different to the townies and usually more money to spend on it too. I think farming families havent a clue when it comes to what the young ones are up too tbh.

Well I highly recommend going if you’ve a carload of mates to join you .
The highland show is good , but the location, how well its run and the craic is fantastic!
We went about 4 yrs running , and bar the drive home on Thurs (🤢) , every memory is a good one !

Cracking show, right on my doorstep. Always go every year and try to have a few pints in the nsa, and the shearing. Maybe time to set up a TFF meet up for a few lively ones

It's always nice to hear a bit of sense on this subject.

I couldn't claim to know what the kids are into these days but I don't think the older generation realise you can just buy drugs online and get them discretely delivered to your preferred address.

I know for a fact people were using drugs when I was in the young farmers, pre COVID.
But, I'm not sure I would go so far as to say it's a serious problem on its own.
