I'm intrigued by this. I have contacted the head of DAERA Grant's and subsidies as I know them personally and we are used as a demonstration farm for some aspects and neither I or they have heard of such a scheme. He would really like to know the details as he will have to quickly muster a team to handle the raft of applications that are undoubtedlygojng to be sent in on your advice and I would like to know where to get the forms and where/who to apply to. So thanks again for enlightening us, as without your knowledge this would have slipped us by as we paddy's are famed for not applying for handouts or subsidies. It's not like we are the highest cost per capita of any province in the UK. I await your reply, thanks again.
You're just telling us that so you can keep all the grant for yourself you sneaky so and so. Obviously speedster is 100% factually correct with his hearsay.

last machinery grant I heard of was farm modernisation grant, nothing too much to sing about, and the string attached didn't make it worthwhile for many, machinery wasn't that eligible, as it was a grade 3 with grade 1 items getting higher points to stand a better change of receiving a letter of offer.

if this is the grant speedstar is on about he has nothing to fear.

Has the Indians n Cowboys at Stormont kissed n made up yet? #youcouldntmakeitup
Nobody knows, its like a Christmas panto up there except they are playing with peoples livelihoods, a complete shower the lot of them. If we had any sense we would probably go and join them and sit about doing nothing for the past three years on full pay, for that matter there is probably a job coming up as a driver for the First Ministers Office the only stipulation is that all applicants have to be registered blind and have the constitution of an Ox and the heart of a Lion.

Thats a brilliant reply.
Its one of them things where us Brits have enough gov issues of our own but thats finally been sorted n put too bed for the next five years now.
But heck that carryon is a shocking disgrace for you folks in NI & iam completely sure its all fixable if they would just reach an agreement & get on with it.

Farma, in essence this is a good wee country 90% filled with good people who don't have any time for all the sh!te. The problem is the 10% that are stuck in the past on both sides of the divide and cant look forward as they are too busy looking back.
But we are getting side tracked again, poor @Sid is no closer to finding out running costs. Over here in NI with all our grants we could put a 200hp 50k Tractor with a 16t trailer on flotations, air and a steering axle on the ferry and in your yard for about £3.48 an hour.
