I was called out to this today the guy is an 80 year old that's been struggling on with this machine for a while it devoloped a fault overnight it stopped working in forward when I checked it today it was trying to reverse in neutral reverses in reverse but absolutely nothing in forward I dropped the oil and replaced it took out the shuttle valve cleaned it up and the solonoids it's really stiff to change gear selection managed to get it into 1st it drove forward a few feet but wasn't happy stalled and when restarted was the same again trying to reverse and only going backwards nothing on the forward position I swapped the solonoids over again only wanted to go back.. I haven't changed transmission filter yet as I didn't have one could this being blocked cause this or is it a fault in the transmission any help ideas would be greatly received just want to help this old guy out and try to get it working again it dosent do a lot and in his words he didn't want to buy another because he dosent know how long he's got left his self any ideas please I've not had anything to do with these machines so I'm in the dark a bit thanks..
