Scotsqueeze sheep clamp

They say never react when your angry well im feckin livid. How these folk on farm forum can so unjustly slander my machine and myself under false names is absolutely atrocious. I only hope that there is no such thing as bad publicity is true, but do phone me and ask me for the true story and buy the scotsqueeze with confidence.the facts are that anyone who bought scotsqueeze had it delivered within the 21 days that we quoted and are absolutely delighted with their purchase.
as for the chap who thought it was a bit low we would willingly build it to his preferred height or lenght at no extra cost .
At the end of last years highland which was really successful i shook hands with Clive and
thanked him for his hospitality and said see you at the royal welsh but told me there wouldn't be room for the scotsqueeze. not one word has passed between us. since that day untill highland sheep where i had my own stand full of equipment that james and i had built ourselves i at no time asked to share at any venue at all., i am appalled that bob should print such gross lies but it must have been lies he was told.i wish him well with his combiclamp

At the highland i was handing out to interested customers clives business cards as good manners for him allowing me to exhibit on his stand only to find out later that he was discrediting The Scotsqueeze and myself This is unbelievably sad, untrue and unforgivable.

As for sub contracting I asked 2 companies to quote and both said they couldn't do it at the price i was selling the machine for and that I should be asking at least double what I was. So we make them ourselves. We have continuously improved Scotsqueeze and will continue to do so. However it is acknowledged by all honest customers and buyers as the best in the UK as well as great value for money.

I have had absolutely no contact with Clive since last years Highland show so all other stories are pure lies from start to finish. I like to think I am renowned for my inventions and products over the last 30 years and hope that someone who's only claimed to fame are the millions that he inherited and not worked for is now suitably ashamed.
incidently we have never had a web page only an old youtube video of the very first machine which is working very successfully up in shetland look under scotsqueeze autoclamp Nobody on this forum has bought a Scotsqueeze yet but if and when they do I hope that they put as much time and effort into telling folk how pleased they are with their purchase.

I saw the one up here in Shetland not long ago and the guy is very happy with it.
It looked well made to me and seemed very reasonably priced.

Full credit to you for responding James business can be a cut throat game and feel sorry for you and your son if you have been mistreated by third parties. Even back to last Highland show I spoke to Clive at the Scotpen stand and he wasn't really interested in taking about the Scotsqueeze.
It's a pity I couldn't make it to Highland Sheep and missed the stand at the Highland show this year or I could have spoken to you in person. What other shows in Scotland do you plan on attending this year?
Like I have said previously I was impressed with the clamp last year and seems very well priced. I mistakenly thought it was being build by Scotpen but obviously realise now that it's not. hopefully see you at another show this year and if I can convince the powers that be a clamp is the way forward I'll be in touch!

I'm the one that felt it was a bit low compared to a combi clamp

One point James well done and fair play for coming on and explaining the situation, but it has been nearly a yr and reading back through thread some folk where left expecting, which was a pity and great potential PR missed ?

Price point it seems very good and wish you all the best with it for the future, competition is good (y)

To be fair James, myself and others have asked for a demo and nothing happened and phone messages have not been returned. If you did not want to do a demo fair enough but why not just say and direct potential buyers to machines already in use that we could actually go and see and perhaps speak to the owner. We were fully prepared to buy one after a successful demo as were others I know but no returned calls and failed promises do not fill a customer with confidence.

As Andy84 said well done for coming on and responding. I only stated on my earlier post what I was told verbatim at the highland. I do apologise For relaying the story . I have no wish to upset or interfere. I was expecting to see the scotsqueeze clamp there after having seen it last year. As I said I am keen to upgrade my handling pens and very much liked what I saw . Disappointed I missed you down at the shearing complex. I will get in touch directly .

I was slightly sympathetic up to that bit.
Please reconsider in the light of day and tidy it up, it is not really true and is not hardly any of our business anyway:banhappy:

:ROFLMAO:

You are having a laugh.

Get some demos out on the ground and put your own efforts in, before asking people to part with cash for something they (practically) have never seen!!

@James Leggat if you are a serious business then for god sake get yourself a website. You a can get a very good website set up in a week for around £500, that with some decent vids of the set up in action and you could save your self hours in the phone and have a steady flow of orders with deposits if nessasery. I won't charge you for this business advice but please take it and move forward, if the product is good enough it will sell itself once folk can see it and order it.

My advise, bearing in mind I have bought a scotsqueeze cattle crush is please ONLY pay on delivery. Having dealt with Adam Leggat I feel that I should share my experience on a purely factual basis. Mr leggat should also be contacted to share his view of events.

Having viewed the videos on line I attended RWS in the hope of viewing the scotsqueeze, having realised there was no stand I phoned to see if I could arrange to view/see demo. I was able to see the scotsqueeze in action within 90 minutes! Very impressed with it, very useful piece of kit at a very fair price. Hope to own one soon.
