Can anyone recommend a good screwdriver set that comes in a box?

I have always used a Stanley set for the past 10 years, which I have replaced several times.

I like the solid case that keeps all of the screwdrivers together, but the heads on the Philips screwdrivers just don't seem to last. Today two splines sheared off the main Philips size head.

Can anyone recommend something similar in design but better quality?

I've got a laser set of engineers screwdrivers that have the metal nut on the end for giving them some with a spanner. They seem to put up with some torture, For the better stuff I use a decent handle with a hex socket and buy the bits to fit what I need...... star drive, Allen heads etc etc.

CK make good screwdrivers but the better models cost some.

I like the Wera sets, all sorts available. If it’s just to keep in a tractor this would be good with replaceable tips?

Britool this was the only set I could find in a box, doesn't look the same as the unboxed sets that I Have.

They never seem to last, you'd think by now manufacturers would have accepted everyone uses them as chisels and punches and would make them suitable for the job

none last forever using bits and a ratchet are good for some tasks but not great for others.

I’m guess only one or 2 drivers need replacement why not replace just them

What's the tray like inside..... looks a bit chinesium to me!

The box is okay but the tray is rubbish really. in binned the trays and kept the box for some odd random stainless bolts and washers i got. screwed drivers went in the tool box.

This set did look nice with the foam inserts....but not sure I can really justify that. It contains both PH and PZ - I don't really see the need for both, and it also misses out PH3 or PZ3 and is rather overkill for my needs I would think.

The Halfords set @SilliamWhale mentions looks reasonable though again missing PZ3. Tempted to get a trade card and pick one up though.

The KS Tools set mentioned by @shumungus looks like it might fit the bill well.I don't need both PH and PZ, but it has all sizes and a few extras....and a very reasonable price too.

It's a pity Milwaukee, Wera, Knipex, Bahco etc. don't do a simple set of 10 slotted and PZ covering all 4 main sizes and a stubby, and in a sturdy box that won't fall to pieces in minutes. The box seems to let most tools down today, despite being a fairly cheap part of the item to produce.

@Steevo splash the cash and get a snap-on ratchet screwdriver. I can’t remember what the Philips bits with the extra grip are called but there excellent for getting tight stuff out.
