There will be quite a few who genuinely don't pay much tax, low earners after allowances etc, but there is a big difference in that and a sudden stop to all income, I know many will say they should save for a rainy day etc etc, but if you are only just making ends meet it's not going to happenThere's going to be howls of pain from the have-your-cake-and-eat-it brigade!
If you've declared no profit for the last 3 years it's not the government's job to suddenly make your business profitable, is it?
Well if they don't earn a lot anyway then 80% of that isn't going to seem such a problem? There will be quite a few who genuinely don't pay much tax, low earners after allowances etc, but there is a big difference in that and a sudden stop to all income, I know many will say they should save for a rainy day etc etc, but if you are only just making ends meet it's not going to happen
But they won't get 80% of anything if they haven't shown a profit, but they would still have had some income, now they might have no income and no helpWell if they don't earn a lot anyway then 80% of that isn't going to seem such a problem?
or doing alot of cash jobsInvesting all your profits in shiny machinery suddenly doesn't seem like a good idea !
I think all self employed are eligible even if you are working, and we should all claim it cos he is going to put up our contributions when the dust settles.Am I right in thinking they only contact self employed that are eligible?
I wonder how we stand, we are working but only slightly, lack of materials so in the long run we could be seriously effected
