Iv a hogget scanned for twins that’s due in around 3 weeks now. Yesterday morning looked a little off and worse by evening. She’s hanging her right ear and right side face is slightly swollen and this morning right eye has gone cloudy like pink eye. She’s also very wobbly. I’m thinking she’s either got a thump on that side or It’s listeriosis. Anyone any other ideas what I could do for her ? Thanks

Are they fully housed atm?
What forage/diet are they on?
when did you last does for fluke/worms?
what minerals do they have access to?
could she have eaten something?

From description Listeria , if so then large amounts of ab NOW and since she's still on her feet then you stand a chance of recovery

Theyv been inside 6 weeks tomorrow, she’s a twin so getting just over half a kilo of meal a day. They are on bale silage and give them molasses over the top off silage twice aday. They were fluked, bolused and heptavac booster last Wednesday

Spoke to friend on phone and he had vet there and he says give synulox for 3 days minimum

No mention of pain killer /anti inflammatory ? Good luck don't skimp on the dose rate and you may find more like 5-7 days min , but being young and fit is in her favour

Gave her rheumocam, was sold it by vets as a replacement for metacam

Looks like listeria classic. LOTS OF AB and the correct dosage of anti inflammatory. Then cross your fingers and pray. That’s about all you can do.
