What power does a simba express with the st bar take to drag? I know it depends on how deep you run the legs. I have a few steep banks to go up and down

They are pretty heavy,it will be weight you need

It has a small diameter roller on it by the looks of things. Next door have a joker with the legs with a similar size tractor and weight on the front

I've a ton on front on t7 260.; still lifts front off ground.

It should be fine. We run it on a t7 190 too which would be similar power to 165.

190 has a loader on it. So just pick up something with it for front weight

I used to have one fairly sure it was used behind a 716 old model. Would have had 1500kg on the front. Light chalk soils

Used to pull 1 with a NH TM155 on flat but heavy land, I think you’ll be ok with 165

165 4 cylinder might not have lift capacity.

It’s a McCormick xtx 165 so pretty heavy on the front end

It’s either this or a opico varidisc with a tool bar on the front of the discs

We used to pull ours with a 3670. 170hp with 700kg weight .it always went well seemed about right for power and well balanced. We now use it with a 6499 and that plays with it.

We ran a 3m Express plus 5 leg ST Bar behind a JD 6630 135hp no problem with hp but could be a bit light on the front without a set of weights!

How agressive do you want it?

T7200 will work fine but it was slow amd had to ease the disks off a little
Puma 200 CVX & 1100 kg was working 9kph steady pull and disks quite agressive

You can have narrow or wide points which will make a difference, never really noticed a change in hp requirement with different disc angles.
