slurry bugs question

new lagoon here Feb. 23
not used till last winter and pumped into it 3 times slurry from yard lagoon.
I use homebrewed slurry bugs most of the winter.
back march/April time there was a thin crust on lagoon which the wind would move around.
tankered out about a month ago, yes slurry was thin but had colour and you could see where you been driving
today not much more than coloured water, no crust at all, no sludge in the bottom, no extra rainfall of any significance in last 5 weeks
would bugs turn slurry to basically nothing??

I'd say someone has stolen your slurry and replaced it with water to cover their tracks!

i just brewed up 20l every week and tipped it on the yard and scraped in, and used 1l of this weeks brew to start next weeks off
cost me a 20l drum of mollases and a 20watt fish tank heater to keep drum warm

One of the contractors here has an over the top stirrer which is supposed to be really effective. Think it was home designed and built so not sure if you'll have anyone over there with something similar?

I know a man very close to here who put a lagoon mixer on a forklift mast on the back of the tractor. Refuses to stir mine as the last one with a crust they had to put a telehandler to the front of the tractor as she was lifting when she caught the vegetation. Split the backend of the tractor.

I have watched the video and see how you make the original brew with a mix ratio of 1 part RWW to 10 parts milk.
Can you explain in a bit more detail what you are doing with the 1litre of brew you keep from the previous mix, are you just adding that to 10litres of milk again without using RWW
You mention molasses, are you adding this to the mix

milk is to start production of LAB
once you have your brew going i use -
1l mollases,1l of last weeks brew and 18ish liters of warm water to make next weeks brew, leave it sit for a week with the fishtank heater to keep it warm.
then keep 1l of that brew to start the next 1 off
