Small hydraulic driven compressor.

Quickfencer didn’t one once but they told me it was very unreliable. I don’t know how or why, I bought a petrol driven one and mounted it on the knocker
I wanted a hydraulic driven one to save running another engine, I can’t see any reason why one couldn’t be made, if the engine failed on this I’m sure an old hydraulic motor could be found to drive the belt.

Keep an eye out for ex bt 7.5t lorrys. some of them had a nifty hyd driven compressor amongst other things buried under the floor.

Ended up putting a hydraulic driven compressor on it, it’s working but a bit slow, need to change one of the pulleys to speed it up a bit.
Haven’t really used it as I’ve got problems with the post driver, hopefully be sorted soon. I can post some pictures tomorrow if you like?

No hurry, i sort of mean't the whole setup rather than just the compressor, be interesting to know if you'd do anything differently, and how it turned out etc.
The one I can supply requires 13 Lpm and min 120 Bar. Let me know if you require any more technical details.

I have a two tool piston compressor here on the back of a massey 30e, belt drive so an easy conversion but you would need a strong motor for it, the tractor knows that it is working.

Have a compressor on my Landy - factory specified to give air brakes but never used by me and fuse now pulled. Really should remove it, but never gets high up my list. It does show that a decent supply can be achieved by electrical power.
