There was a thread on here a while ago about probe types. I thought you'd recommended one or have I remembered that wrongly? May have been someone else of course but there were some reasonably positive things said about a couple of makes from more than one poster.I’ve tried several electronic pH probe testers ranging in price from £30 to over £200.
They have all been rubbish. Problems from variable pH readings to not working at all for no apparent reason.
Use the test tube kit from @Mounty can’t go wrong. Unless you’re colour blind.
Soil stik was one if I recall correctly. Interested in one myself. There was a thread on here a while ago about probe types. I thought you'd recommended one or have I remembered that wrongly? Morning Pete, which model is it, there is a good few of those ?Yes, I do have a SoilStik to be fair, and it’s ok, seems to tally reasonably well with the BDH method.
However, the very end is fragile, which broke easily on mine, and the replacement was £70 or something daft.
