Anyone running soucy tracks or equivalent? I have a few questions that I would like to ask mostly to do with three-point linkage/drawbar clearance and power sap

Think its Soucy that my son uses. From what he has said, very hard on linkage parts. PTO at sharp angle, causing high wear on wide angle joints. Don't think its very comfortable on the road.
The good point is they had an extra months drilling when ground got wet. Think they said better than the Challenger.

Expensive to buy and run, they seem to have a tendency to pick up and drop small stones into the track unit. rough on the road but then they all are regardless what the jd men say about the 8rx. Lifts the whole tractor so PTO angle is increased and we had to run a toolbar to push certain implements away from the rear tracks.

Not too worried about road comfort of pto use. @slim shiny did you find that they sapped extra horsepower to run? Did it massively reduce the ability to turn right with a drawbar implement on?
Not used any for a few years but I remember they didnt noticeably sap power as the tractor is geared lower by them, our 50k tractor would only do 35k with them on. As for the drawbar, they do reduce turning circle but how much is dependant on the shape of the drawbar, for example the vaderstad drawbar is curved so higher than say a straight drawbar with an eye on the end if you know what I mean

Used a set of stocks tracks here for 18 years, only difference is you extend drawbar a couple of holes, no noticeable power sap as all the power goes into moving and not wheel slipping.
Turning is easier than with dual wheels as the fronts are pulling you round.
