And if you have a rate controller and a flow based system, you must change the width in the control box of the two outer sections that you're blanking some nozzles on.

We have found a "new" sprayer (when drilling winter barley it was not on the radar) which has 24m booms and we have drilled our winter barley at 21m to suit our old sprayer.

So we looking for the easiest way to spray the winter barley at 21m but also be able to spray our spring barley next year which will be drilled at 24m tramlines.

Would it be more than you could abide to just put 24m trams in with new sprayer? I would, if you haven't already opened up ruts.
You won't see any difference at harvest.

Yes, it will look hellish as we drill with a Horsch which blanks 3 coulters when tramlining and one field is by the road side!!!

Just been sticking antifreeze in my sprayer so checked I hadn't dreamt the 5p trick and also found a blanking cap but it'll have cost more than 5p
