Looks good. Might be light but looks like plenty of OM

Thanks , another bit had a few kilo oil raffish in autumn . as a good drive connected to it? , and had 40 ton ha pig muck , and 50 kg n ,cultivated in and combo drilled it’s had nothing else apart from inch water. Looks pretty good

I have a neighbour in that position. Best bit is he won’t speak to me until after harvest now! TBF he might not have to spray off any spring barley.

Not me. We saw it was game over about second week of October. I had a go with the spring crops but no wet has made them very upsetting.

It is shaping up to be a tough year all round. My light soils are frying up now with no rain forecast.

Yup. I'm not paying a contractor to cut wet, brackled, thin barley in seotember. Hoping it all bulks up enough to mow, otherwise it's getting ploughed in and good riddance to it.

Ah but, you know, and he knows you know .

There is a field I can see from my yard, not mine, that has been drilled 3 times I know of, and "probably" 4 if you count patching.
It has gone a nasty shade of Glyphosate yellow this week.
