How far off is the winter barley in the background it almost looks like a contender for June harvesting,mind you I a m colour blind
Winter barley is still green in patches on the opposite field. It might be ready in three weeks if this weather keeps up. Missed all the showers today. Kidderminster had a good soaking this afternoon.

We have been missing them up until today but had about 6mm in about 10 mins this afternoon

Not barley but my grass was literally burning off it was so dry got some rain which kept it ok but it’s only literally last week it’s come back properly green and reestablished decent growth thankfully I’m in North Yorkshire again rain has been very localised some have got it others have not

3 fields of my late drilled Planet. All look ok considering.....especially taken from the right angle so you can’t see how thin it is, how short it is, or the mat of blw that has emerged in the bottom......

Ours was drilled 18 April and about 75% germinated then with the rest germinating in the last 10 days with the rain. I did not think seed would have laid for so long and still germinated.
Probably have been better if it hadn't as will most likely.need roundup for harvest.
