Do people not find if you treat employees with respect that as employers, you are treated with respect. As in treat others as you like to be treated yourself.
If your referring to me, last summer a lad decided to show off to some people on a footpath and booted the quad around a corner, flipped it over and it landed on him, said targets of his show helped get the quad off.I don't get the whole flipping out and yelling thing. If they did something wrong, explain what they did wrong and tell them what you want done, if they keep doing it wrong, then go down the proper channels and get rid.
By the way It's called bullying in other industries these days. It gets managers fired and bosses in trouble
Yeah that's meI might be getting my TFF members mixed up but I'm thinking you are about to set out on your own?
The other time a good shout can help is when you find yourself repeating what you're saying far too many times! At my last job, I was there for 4 years and I'm not sure I ever heard my boss raise his voice apart from once. He was exhausted having just started up 3 robots the day before and had 2 hours sleep, and the apprentice was asked to get the next group of cows in and ready, told how to do it etc, next thing you know and hes trying to do the complete bloody opposite and mix the groups up. That was the first day I've ever seen him completely lose it, and tbh I dont blame him!If your referring to me, last summer a lad decided to show off to some people on a footpath and booted the quad around a corner, flipped it over and it landed on him, said targets of his show helped get the quad off.
Quiet word in his ear i think not. The door was open if needed. At 27 I shouldn't need to explain that showing off with a machine is unexpected.
Boys and pretty young girls eh.
Or following cows in/close.Nothing better than flipping out and going batshit crazy. Clears they air. Mostly involves quad bikes and speed......
I always tell my guys that BOSS is just double SOB spelled backwards. Son of a bitchMotivating staff is simple. Don’t be a boss!

Quite agree, respect is earned but sometimes the softly approach is a signal to some to push the boundaries. A good round of fudges can do the world of good in the right situation.Nothing better than flipping out and going batshit crazy. Clears they air. Mostly involves quad bikes and speed......
Similar to here. We provide On farm housing to most employees. If they live off farm we provide a housing stipend. The stipend would actually cover a mortgage on a modest 3 bedroom House.Remember I live in a place where a 4 bed house is £130k to buy and £475 a month to rent,
Yes certainly, but some really are beyond that, and really only take notice of proper bollickingsDo people not find if you treat employees with respect that as employers, you are treated with respect. As in treat others as you like to be treated yourself.
