Does anybody know what these are munching on my stubble turnips?

Depends on next 3 months really but around here never had much yield unless drilled before September but further down the country will have different results

Just check what’s on the approval label. There’s something in the back of my mind that Hallmark isn’t approved for them....could very well be wrong. Then again you might actually be targeting flea beetle 😉

Try telling the caterpillars it's not approved, it's killed them the two times I have used it.

Had it last year. They can turn the leaves to lace in a matter of days. Got just a patch this year but will probably end up spraying the whole lot.

aye that looks like some of ours, as I said never come across it before. Rang my agronomist but bloody bank holiday means god knows when he will send some spray🙁

These things are weird, you can go year after year and never see any, and then you get a single crop that gets decimated for no reason you can fathom. They are voracious eaters, I've never seen a grown crop hit by flea beetle as bad. Fortunately they are rapidly nailed by insecticide but check your product approvals in case it isn't listed for use on the crop. Won't do any harm but your red tractor man won't like it at all.
