I have coming a 4m folding Agriweld one coming for that exact job in next few weeks. We have helped over the last few years with the development and now got one for ourselves.

other option to look at would be sumo

I suppose i should go for a specific grassland subsoiler with the wider leg spacing and leading discs and hopefully it will also do a decent job on arable stubbles.

For example go for the Sumo GLS as appose to the LDS.

Sumo GLS does a good job of both.

interestingly whilst helping Agriweld we found the narrower 500mm leg spacing easier to pull when trying a 3m 5 leg 600mm spacing in same field as 4m 8leg 500mm spacing on same tractor on same day which was quite surprising.

Tried the sumo but thought it disturbed to much. First 4 pics on grass and stubble.

Bought one of these instead. Not used it yet but I think it’s the best one on the market.
