Can't you calibrate it the normal way or won't it work with Sunflower Seed

you can calibrate anything by weighing / counting out seed, along with width & distance / circumference of drive wheel etc etc
but it is a lot easier to have a starting point rather than making a blind guess

41 on the clock = 1/10 acre. (for a 4m drill)
Start with a spring bean setting (if you've got one) just as a guess. Never drilled anything exotic like sunflowers

I’m not familiar with the metering mechanism on an Accord, but just remember that although the seeds ( ours are anyway ) are reasonably large, sunflowers are very light & are near half the weight of say wheat

I seem to remember we set the drill to the setting for ryegrass as a starting point and then calibrated from there. We used the wide setting at half speed.
They are quite hard to get right because they don't flow well in a drill and for some reason tend to bunch up. To be honest we have gone back to the precision drill for hybrid seed.
