T0 PGR's

With all this bad weather I haven't managed to do a t0. The crop is at gs31 and I would have liked to go with 1l ccc and 0.1 modus as soon as I can probably be 4/5 days yet before there might be a weather window. If I do this is it possible to go again with 1.5 ccc and 0.2 modus at T1 or would the two applications be too close together? It is strong land and has had pig slurry so I'd rather over do the pgr than run the risk of losing it on the ground.
Max total rate is 2 litres per crop per year from memory for 3c.

What is the situation for pgr, when broad way star has been sprayed on winter wheat ,drilled in Sept it has had 120 units per acre up to now I think that is about 96 kg per ht,

Can't see an issue at all. Normally do a split dose of 1l and 0.1l here so your doses do seem a little on the high side compared to what I am used to. Will be a couple of weeks between sprays I'm sure.

What do you mean by "what's the situation?"? I'm not sure I get what you are asking.

I'd leave it 10 days or so between BS and PGR. A split dose PGR would be logical to be a bit kinder on the crop.

I was under the impression that bws, is similar to a pgr, so does it need less pgr, or not?

It will knock the crop for sure. Without seeing a crop it’s hard to tell if it needs less PGR.
Is it a high seed rate? Muck? High fert rates? Previous crop?

How do you value the straw vs the grain? Personally I sell the straw so I’d rather shorter straw than flat corn if the year turns wet.

Personally I always add 0.1/1 at T0 and then if needed follow it up at T1 depending how lush the crop is looking. Easier to do that when splitting the dose rather than lumping it all on in one go.

High seed rate it will have another 34 units of n per acre it is growing but this rain is not good . A standing crop is more important than a heavy flat one. No muck for several years.

Thanks wasn't sure if the two applications being so close together would be an issue. I might not go as far as 1.5 at T1 depending on how it looks but I'd rather have it on I've had flat crop before and it is a complete waste of time.
