The end of physical money.

I think this will reduce the use of cash and hasten a move toward a cashless society.
When you think about it cash Is probably the most unhiegenic thing we all touch.
I can’t say I relish the idea that someone somewhere will be able to track every penny I spend.
As for hygiene, I wouldn’t have thought a farming forum was the best place to make that claim

You can pay someone instantly from a smart phone straight into there bank, I hardly ever use cash anymore.
Although I do have a little bit stashed away for emergencies [emoji6]
Society will learn a lot in the next few Months
One of those things will be that there is more to life than technology and speed . Im off down to the organic farm for a few spring greens when ive had a walk around the farm . I shall leave a few quid in his cashbox as normal
I hope a few more will realise the insanity of the way this world was heading before the end of all this

Cash use has been declining for ages, it's just a fact. Govts desperately want to get rid of it so their economists can play even sillier bxggers with their daft momentary theories. It's also about control and information. We should all resist because the disappearance of cash would lead to intended and unintended consequences. I'm guilty of using it less and less as much as the next man but I do normally try to use it as much as I can. Using a card removes the link between your money and your conscience. It's much much easier to spend too much with a card than cash.
