Recommend me a ram repair business anywhere but Wiltshire Hampshire or Berkshire as their lifestyles are too expensive for me.

Speak to your dealer- the rams aren't generally silly money if I remember correctly.

We run about thirty Stoll loaders every year- I can't say we ever really see rams bending without an external cause. What happened?

Have u tried disconnectin them from headstock and suckin them back in. Iv done this b4 on my uncles loader tractor and it worked a treat and it was worse bent than them rams

The chrome is rusting now on the bends, need new rods as Ollie says. Probably possible to spend £700+ with wrong company.

When you do that you normally split the tubes or at least score them up which will only get worse each time its moved.

Better to have new rod made straight away but as it's a mass produced tractor loader complete new rams are probably just as cheap.

I don’t want to sound like a goodie two shoes here because I’ve bent loads of rams on loaders however-
If you crowd back and forth while stationery it’s very difficult to bend a ram.
If you lift and drive forward whilst the loader is stuck under tonnes of shite or silage with the crowd rams extended you will bend them like toffee.
There’s heaps of them here to prove it!

Hydraflow in Gloucester have always been a good firm, though last time we took a pair of Redrock shear grab rams in for new rods it was more economic to have complete rams from Redrock.
