The real cost of Brexit?

Where do you think i got that statement from! people who work on the front line, bragging about getting a fortune for doing nout, take your white knighting elsewhere

But i will reiterate, as chief virtue signalling above was moaning about, a minority might go, but the vast majority will stay, who will be replaced.

It seems to be a regular occurrence of remainers, over exaggerate everything in the hope someone might listen, nhs split up, world war 3 anything else I've missed off the list?

Half the population turned Into an arse?

I may be wrong but on the few times I've visited hospital I've never seen nursing staff run off their feet.
I did notice a lot of time spent yapping between themselves. I also got the impression they were too into computer screens than patients. I suppose if you have a degree you'll expect someone else to do the bedpan work. Some are so full of themselves they think they're doctors.
All British trained nurses from the early to mid 90,s have degrees ,more than 20 years. The older nurses regularly prompt the young doctors aswell, because they miss things. They save a good few extra lives that way.

This has nothing to do with Brexit, it is a long standing problem with continual under funding of the health service by numerous governments.

well why bring it up then :S my point chimes to this, as you have agreed with me in the past, that money is being thrown away

the nhs isn't some sort of bottomless pit cash cow, the money has to be spent properly

I don't understand increased interest in moving countries. In fact believing the media the 'remainers' are the one leaving. Ironic don't you think!

Also these people supposedly leaving are not thinking straight because in reality nothing's going to change.

It's like a cult club where remainers have conned themselves into thinking the uk is going to collapse.
You make a good point. After all, if you believe in the sunlit uplands awaiting you in the European greater integration project, then you really should be heading for France not NZ!

Wow. Those people who told you that have hit the jackpot. Remind me again how much more money your lot promised to the same NHS pre polling day!!

Doesn't surprise me, I suspect half the NHS staff are looking for new jobs at the moment.

The problem is most staff these days are on fixed term contracts. 2 to 5 years mostly. You have to sign that you are here legally.

Can EU citizens still give that assurance?

My GP and my daughters teacher in primary school may not be here much longer.

Nothing has changed say the leavers, it's changed a lot for them.

If they are not wanted how safe is my investment here?

Will we as a family suddenly fall foul of some "test" the leavers impose?

If teachers and GPs are the enemy others will soon follow.

Quite so, what utter nonsense. Apart from practical considerations attempts at mass deportation are forbidden by international treaty.
Attempting to remove people by other means is not.

Refusal to grant UK rights to existing residents is an attempt at removal by other means.

If it's not why do it?

Incompetence?

Or more likely malice.

But leavers will always need scapegoats. Now that there is no EU it's immigrants.

Who next?

The real cost of Brexit will not be really noticed by Westminster unless and until the city get negatively hit by Brexit. The so called passport rights enjoyed by the city of London to transact big euro business is a very significant revenue and profit driver for the uk Banks. Brexiteers of course expect nothing will change in that respect post triggering of article 50!
I couldn't possibly comment, but others may well have different opinions than those of a Brexiteer http://bloom.bg/2bwXkoa

We put in a vast amount of increased money to the NHS last year. What did we get. A bloody pay rise, no more doctors, no more nurses, no more beds but 4 or 5% more managers. Seeing as how they already have more than one per bed it was just what the NHS needed.
Our whole Civil Service is a racket and Brexit will flush the B's out. No more Sir Humphrey excuses about EU rules.
The whole Civil Service is grossly underworked, grossly overpaid never mind the B gold plated pension scheme with a 3.5 TRILLION black hole. Makes sir shifty and BHS look like chicken feed.
NHS problem is it is still living in the 40's and 50's work wise. Famous saying is if it was good enough in 1949 its still perfect now!

Don't worry leavers will make there's no NHS soon enough.

I'm sure you will be delighted.

Who will they go for next? Already got immigrants and NHS on the list.

I admire the principal of the NHS but it has to enter the 21st century.
For all those needing hip or knee replacements pay a bit extra for a real part (you do not have to pay the whole op cost only the difference) and that way your leg will be only a couple of mm diff rather than an inch or more. NHS are still using the same design of hip replacements as from the 50's.
I forgot about our hard worked teachers, poor B's have to work 5 days a week for three quarters of the year teaching only 70% of the same numbers than in the 70's. 25% pay higher rate tax and to get the equivalent pension in the private sector they would have to contribute nearly 30% of their salaries. My heart bleeds for them NOT!
McD, the biggest youth employer in UK and Tesco, biggest employer in UK cannot find enough people to employ.
Not a surprise really as the girls teaching them on £30k+ a year cannot count, spell or punctuate never mind work out what a split infinitive is.
