The Sheep Game - Youtube Channel

*Caveat* I don't know the bloke running the channel.

Been watching the Youtube channel The Sheep Game for a while.

What a great job "Cammy" is doing for livestock farming and agriculture in general. They say any publicity is good publicity which is certainly not true in agriculture given the negativity spread by certain members of our community, but this channel is giving an informative and often humorous insight into our industry if not for the seasoned farmer definitely for the non-farmers too.

Channels like this should be praised and spread as far and wide as possible, we don't have enough positive sources of agri education so well done to the bloke running this and if you haven't seen it, I can highly recommend it.

If you like the sheep game, then try sonne farms. They are a great farther and son, they have a really good working relationship and have a good set up, fantastic to see how cattle are kept across and in the us.

The two kids like him, he explains what he’s doing and seems to work hard with a night job also.the video of delivery of the wool and how its graded and sorted was one of the most interesting. Its not all me me stuff.

Agree the wool board 'episode' was one of his finest bits of work.

I don't think it's just nights he works... he's in the police, so the standard pattern (if he's a PC) is 6 days of shifts - 2 day, 2 back, 2 night - then 4 days off.

I like him a lot and have some good banter with him on Instagram. Feet are firmly on the ground, he's just at it for the banter and so far has no sponsorship like some you see

He was in the CID but has just recently quit to concentrate on his farming/contracting/you tube operations

27 posts on that one and 9 on this one and I can't believe nobody has mentioned the delightful Lizzie  - some lass that, they don't put many round her on the clipping trailer and Cammy stands and watches while she catches owt that needs lambing :)

Might just nip over to YouTube and see what he's been up to this week.

Lizzie is from down our way, old family friends, great family! Father passed away young a few years ago now. Her and brother Ross (farms on the tenanted hill farm they all grew up on) have been in shearing competitions, sheared in NZ, sister Georgina farmed in Norway, (back in Leicestershire now with her husband and family) and they went over to shear over there as well. They all get around and are not afraid of hard work, I'm not at all surprised they are making a cracking go of it on youtube, good on them! All 3 a credit to their mum Alison
