Bought it last spring, its very satisfying watching all the years of crap come flying off,I'll never use a wire brush again, plus if its not to badly corroded its quick, thats why I thought about doing the rolls,I only do it when its a nice drying day tho.Is the blaster a recent purchase?
I know I definitely spend a load of time playing with new toys, I'd have got bored by now though.
What blasting medium do you use?????Bought it last spring, its very satisfying watching all the years of crap come flying off,I'll never use a wire brush again, plus if its not to badly corroded its quick, thats why I thought about doing the rolls,I only do it when its a nice drying day tho.
Blast media is cheap at £150/ton and goes a very long way, especially if you can reuse it.
J Blast, standard, its iron silicate, its very hard and leaves a great surface for the primer to key too. What blasting medium do you use?????
That is the question.
I thought I'd post this in machinery forum rather than workshop.
What are the forum members thoughts on machinery that has been shot blasted and repainted/overhauled about resale/value?
Is it worth the time involved or does it put potential buyers off by covering up potential issues
Thats cynic coming out in me!

£500ish will get you a good one…What sort of money is a blaster to do a job like that? Got a couple of trailers to do and wonder if I should invest.
Feel free to point me in the right direction.. Ebay only coming up with Sealey ones or a couple of second hand big ones at 1.5k and 2.5k£500ish will get you a good one…
