Why has someone worded this frame under the grab. Presumably to support the load vertically. And the round bit at the end is there for a reason

Just going to say thatStacking bales on round and not ends.
Why would it need the frame to do that?Stacking bales on round and not ends.
Would it be to transport the bales a distance so it wouldn’t be moving around or loosening in the soft handsWhy has someone worded this frame under the grab. Presumably to support the load vertically. And the round bit at the end is there for a reason
Is it in the right place to put 2 wrapped bales together in the field and be able to run them back to the yard?Yes, my guess is someone's been running them straight back to the heap.
Not a bad plan with soft-ride loader and heap in field.
There’s some right plastic snagging bits on the bar that hat the frame is welded toWhy has someone worded this frame under the grab. Presumably to support the load vertically. And the round bit at the end is there for a reason
Carry it round field and weight of bale would sit on frame. Not relying on grip to hold onto it.Why would it need the frame to do that?
