As the title says is it too late for Lucerne rye grass mix. I'm on the south coast. What are peoples thoughts or best wait for spring? Thanks

Is the Lucerne pre-inoculated or inoculated? The seed is hopefully arriving tomorrow, so might be better to store till April
I had a customer sowing 2 weeks ago in the East Midlands -he grows a lotThe seed is hopefully arriving tomorrow, so might be better to store till April
The inoculant will have a detrimental effect on the seed over time. A very short time ago (some still do) the only seed available had to be inoculated on farm. I would try and store it as safely as possible and at a constant temperature and if you do decide to keep it until the spring do a germ test.Ok think the next question how well does the seed store?
Where actually are youOk think the next question how well does the seed store?
Get it sownI'm in West Sussex generally pretty mild here sheltered by isle of Wright to south and downs to north.
Seems likely, hardly a frost in the last few winters, not good for our snowplough contracts!!Some of you must be praying for a dry warm time until December 1st!
