Toyota Hi lux max towing weight?

Wifes car definitely not inconspicuous!

White with white leather and 20 odd inch diamond cut alloys. Look like a drug dealer.
Yeh tell me about it mine put a private reg on hers with my initials on ffs and there’s the fancy alloys too. I don’t drive it for the main part.

I was thinking more of a fatigued left hand from stirring that huge gearstick 3ft forwards and backwards, never mind the white finger it gives you. I forgot about the hilux seating position that makes you sit like a fat baby
Ours has BF Goodrich tyres and feels like its going to vibrate itself to bits when you hit 70mph!

Are you going to do the 900 miles in a day?
If it was a 1000 quid for exclusive use of the truck I'd just pay it. It's their problem and their insurance if it goes wrong.
If its an expensive piece of kit and is travelling as LTL freight, you might have to wait for them to get a full load and it could get damaged being made to fit the load, dropped at the wrong place etc.
Getting it yourself could go well or could turn into a nightmare.

Decisions, decisions.

Checked the plate on my 63 plate 3.0 Invincible Hilux, its rated to tow 2800kg so I'd guess yours will be the same.
Personally I'd chance it if it doesn't look wild and you have a tidy trailer underneath it.
Fuel consumption will be cruel if its anything like mine though.:cry:

Steven Walker, Stewart trailers, Marshall trailers, Manners would be my list of hauliers to try.
