Tractor Operator - WOLLEMI FARMS
Job Type: Full-time Ongoing
Location: Pine Creek, QLD
We are seeking an experienced Tractor Operator to join our team on Wide Bay Macadamias. Our Macadamia orchards are located throughout the Bundaberg region, with this role being based at our Pine Creek Aggregation.
As a tractor operator you will be carrying out all operations related to macadamia production across all our farms, as well as basic machine maintenance and repairs. Other farm duties will need to be performed from time to time.
We maintain a modern fleet of tractors equipped with autosteer and field telemetry to assist you in the accurate application of inputs and operations, therefore a strong knowledge of machinery is required.
Applications from candidates with strong communication skills, ability to work by self and as part of a team with a focus on completing quality work safely will be highly regarded.

- Demonstrated experience in working in an orchard or broadacre setting.
- Experience with operation of farm machinery and maintenance.
- Drivers' license is essential.
- Strong mechanical and welding skills will be advantageous.
- Must be able to work safely, alone and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills with good problem-solving ability and a positive attitude to work.
- Be physically fit and able to fulfill all requirements of the role.
- Heavy Vehicle Truck License, ChemCert Certificate, current First Aid certificate will be highly regarded.
- Experience with tractor GPS systems.
