Is it a trailer, or a recycled chicken shed ? Wouldn't like to be in it when one of those trained lorry drivers with a licence hits it at 56 MPH.

First rule of taking anything on the road, at least try to look legal.............especially if what you’re doing quite possibly isn’t

There’s a good chance more rules than just the number plate were being broken here, maybe they were being let off lightly by a sympathetic copper

I'm quite sure if the police whipped out a copy of the Firearms Act, Road Traffic Act, Construction and Use Regulations and the Coronavirus Act they could have found plenty of other things wrong here if they really wanted to. Sounds like they got a rap on the knuckles by a very reasonable police officer. As others have said, if you're going to do something that might not be strictly legal, at least try and make it look legal

That, plus if you were really a sharp police officer even the validity of taking humans on an ag trailer would be more up for debate .........
