At that speed the videos can't be very long otherwise you'd be through the hedge and into the next field. Looks impressive though. I see the Topcon appears to be controlling the sprayer now.

We do have a couple of fields with runs over 1km. Topcon is, finally, working. Still in beta software, but seems to be fine.

That's a spot rate of 56ha/hr, I'm talking about average work rate.
Our spot rate at 24km/h is 72ha/hr.

looking more tempting than a replacement self prop by the day ! I do like this machine and it will be great when your snagging / development is over

It's only because he spends so long on his hair before leaving the house in the morning. Then has to drive like stink in the field to catch up.

I think @Clive wanted to see our sprayer booms on some more undulating ground. This is the very worst bit we have for sprayer booms on the farm. If you went over this patch with fixed booms, you would go from them being 1-2m in the air to having an expensive accident pretty quickly. The Horsch isn't absolutely perfect, but it's pretty bloody good.
On a related note, it's fairly windy out there today, especially up on the hill, but having the booms so low really seems to almost eliminate visible drift.

After watching that video I don't think the height control of the booms is has consistent has our Agrifacs,although it is difficult to see how undulating the ground is on camera.

I need smoother fields to go that speed, 10 kph gets a speed wobble at times! Damn root crops.

I think the latest norac update is as good, if not better, than that. It's made a massive difference to the system although admittedly I don't really spray at anything over 12km/h.

AFAIK, the new Horsch technology looks ahead of the sprayer, which I think is one up on what David has.
