You are forgetting the 79 restriction code.[
No answers yet? Just a question to see what is legal or not so forget the weight or the driver and his sandwiches.

If you operate it for reward at any time you have to run the tacho under the rules of the Operator`s Licence.. Owner driver or not, this still applies. One other thing, on the form you fill out at the test centre, the vehicle being privately owned and driven, makes it taco exempt. No mention as to its use!
Did you mean rule 69?You are forgetting the 79 restriction code.
Did you mean rule 69?
69 is when you have to switch the tachometer to bed symbol. My wife told me off for writing on her facebook so thought I would do the honourable thing.Sounds like a Tong Norton rule that one Bob. Anyway what you doin' on Facebook?
I've experienced that!!69 is when you have to switch the tachometer to bed symbol. My wife told me off for writing on her facebook so thought I would do the honourable thing.
You always lower the tone Roy, or perhaps raise it
Deja-vu just creeping in a bit here - surely not ready for all that again are you Roy - finishing the wrong way an' all that kinda crap
Almost lost 2 hay customers today, you would be surprised who reads this lot ! a few kind words and reassurance that " no your bum definitely does not look big in those Jodphurs " seems to have calmed the situation ..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
I think that if it is within the plated train weight, and under the 8250 limit, its ok. You can make illegal weights legal by playing with the figures! For example a 7.500 truck can only tow a 750 trailer, so how can you tow your 900 kg caravan? Pay vosa £26.00 fill out a notifiable alteration form, derating the truck by150 kg. Now your legal! Nothing has changed, except the paperwork.now then,
here is a question, fore someone passing their car test pre 1997, seems you get the 7.5 T wagon + 750kg trailer,
now as far as i read it, (and will stand to be corrected) C1 is for between 3500kg and 7500kg,
so if someone drives a twin wheeler pickup, plated at 3500kg or above and pulls a trailer, then this would mean if no test for trailer was passed then 750kg limit will be in force,is that right, ?
their could be a few builders out there with twin wheeler pickups plated at 3500kg or above, pulling trailers with mini diggers on,
That`s ok if the truck is not running very close to capacity. I guess most World Stylers are pushing it on 7.5 tonne trucks.I think that if it is within the plated train weight, and under the 8250 limit, its ok. More than likely, thats why I have a small tractor. That`s ok if the truck is not running very close to capacity. I guess most World Stylers are pushing it on 7.5 tonne trucks.
Would a J Reg Ford cargo qualify for the NFU vintage policy?
My old lorry is 1987, and qualifies. NFU limit is 15 years old.Must qualify as a historic vehicle for tax purposes - indeed anything made before 1st Jan 1977 is free as long as you apply for it.
